Denae Huffman

Denae Huffman has been desiring to know Jesus more since her early teenage years. “I have for most of my life longed for a deeper relationship with God, and have done many things in pursuit of that desire. It has been through Spiritual Direction that I have genuinely deepened that relationship for which I have been longing.” Denae is grateful to be a wife, mother to 4 adult children and 3 sons-in-law and grandmother to 4. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Denae worked with both elderly clients and special needs children. Once she and husband Wade (married 1985) began having children, she “worked from home”, raising their 4 children. She currently serves her church as the women's pastor and oversees the Spiritual Wellness ministry. She completed her training in Ignatian Spiritual Direction through Dovehouse Ministries and loves to direct silent retreats as well as individual spiritual direction and leading people through the Spiritual Exercises. Denae loves to meet people where they are, walking with them in vulnerability and courage toward a vibrant life of loving Jesus.
